Pokerroom

has been treating me well recently, I ft'ed the "Grand" omaha tourney, and today ft'd their sunday 300. Unfortunately, i reraised a mid position raiser for most of my chips with kq, he happily called with ak, and I didn't get lucky.

Doing preety well in the full tilt and paradise sunday tournies, but still a long way to go.

"AA KK QQ JJ 10 10 99 of these 3 dominate you badly.. other 3 you are about even.. AK AQ"

Your range for this player is far too small.

Players raise, especially late in a tournament, with far less hands that will be layed down to a big reraise. He may fold hands like AQ, AJ, AT, TT-22, KQ, suited connectors, KJ, QJ, KT, etc. Ari's reraise represents a much larger hand than KQ, thus, making his opponent fold many hands (as mentioned before) If he gets called by AK, AQ, AA-QQ, he is in bad shape, but otherwise, he is either racing, or a 3-2 dog. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the play unless the player was extremely tight and would only raise AK, AQ, AA-QQ.

I obv. try and pick my spots, and don't "just go all in" to any raise, but reraising w/ or w/o cards is a big part of what allows to get chips. If I never made those moves, I don't believe I'd even be a winning player. Granted that sometimes my moves fail, but that doesn't take away that in general they work out and bring me alot of chips. (Both due to folds, and due to getting paid off w/ my big hands.)

There are certain hands I'm sure ariiiii will or will not resteal with...in fact, AJ is one of those hands I'm sure Ariiii will not resteal with, because if called, he can ONLY hope for a coinflip. Also, this play is risky, but it can get opponents to lay down hands and give ariii a lot of chips without ever seeing a flop..it's better than a traditional steal because it represents more strength...also, i'm sure ariiii picks his spots, he's not just raising with 28 when a v tight ep player raises...he even said it was a mp raiser
